On Wednesday May 3, the Brick Township Street Crimes Unit (SCU) concluded a lengthy drug investigation with the execution of two residential search warrants.
The SCU was assisted by the Ocean County Narcotics Strike Force and the Lakewood Street Crimes Unit.
The Special Emergency Response Team executed the search warrants, the first on Isadora Court and the second on Sawmill Road.
Crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a digital scale were recovered during the investigation, Brick police said.
Thomas Quran, 44, of Brick, was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of heroin, intent to distribute crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence, police said.
Quran was arrested and was being held in Ocean County Jail.
Michael Sorresso, 54, of Brick, was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, police said. Sorresso was released on a summons.
